The One & Only Visit

Dubai ; the 17th of March 2015 under the heat of the city and just after visiting the famous Burj Al Arab, we had the pleasure to visit the One & Only Royal Mirage , which ,I, personally was fascinated about.

They were several reasons for my fascination: the pure Arabian architecture, the private coastline, the 65 acres of Landscaped gardens and let alone the perfect location that overlook the palm island bay, this resort is composed of three different distinct environments: The Palace, The Arabian Court and the Residence & Spa, each one of these categories listed above has its own style

Royal Suites: tremendous accommodation with two elegant bedrooms differently decorated, the living and the dining room are linked to a large balcony overlooking the Arabian Gulf, and it also contains a private kitchen.

Concerning the restaurants and bars, the palace offers to its clientele a variety of choices with its four restaurants: Olives the Mediterranean cuisine, Tagine the Moroccan flavor; Celebrities international specialty and finally the beach bar and &Grill for the sea food lovers. The palace has as well two Bars, the Jetty bar as the beach lounge and the Kasbar as a night club.

The Arabian Court contains three restaurants: the Rotisserie, an all day dining room, with a kitchen show; The Nina an Indian European restaurant and Eauzone , a pool restaurant ,when it comes to bars , The Rooftop Bar and The Samovar Lobby Lounge  add variety and Arabian character to the dining experience  .

For the restaurants located in the Residence & spa, the dining Room is elegant and refined and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The library is a comfortable intimate haven with service of Afternoon tea.

These three categories share four common facilities :
The leisure Facilities, containing the health & beauty institute, the Spa, the Oriental hammam and a fitness center
The Golf and Excursion
The Kids Only
And The Conference & Business facilities.

As mentioned in the beginning they were several reasons behind my fascination for the One & Only Mirage, let alone the facility and its location, I really appreciated the human aspect, the manner in which we were welcomed to the hotel, how the sale Manager presented the hotel services which made our spirits travel through the Arabic senses.
But most of all our meeting with the managing director was priceless, Mr Olivier P.louis, we have been honored that he choose to share his rich experience with us , we have learned from him that being successful comes with great efforts and responsibilities , he made it very clear that it is possible to make it in a foreign country especially an Arabic one .
While our visit we have been welcomed in the resort biggest suite as professionals with soft drink and  tea while the managing director was answering our questions efficiently .

I would like to say that thanks to Mr daniel gillot our professor at cergy-pontoise university we had the opportunity to discover this hotel and its employees, to share this memorable moments with our classmates .

Now I can proudly say that I visited dubai’s most stylish beach resort ;  a hotel that pays tribute to the Arabian architecture and hospitality , it’s a wondrous place of intricate arches ,domes and towers , rich green lawns and immaculate flower beds.
